I am a Ph. D Computer Science student, about to finish my thesis, looking for opportunities in the Big Data field and Scala programming so that I can enrich my expertise.
In my thesis, I have been working and experimenting a lot with Big Data technologies such as Akka, Spark in a standalone environment, Kafka, and Hadoop. I persisted data in HDFS or NoSQL Databases including Neo4J, MongoDB and HBase. Furthermore, I deployed several projects with Scala for extracting knowledge form graphs and linear algebra data types with self-proposed and conventional data mining techniques. Moreover, I have been building a distributed solution leveraging the Play framework for the backend, AngularJS for the front and an Akka cluster for the highly concurrent processing part.
