I'm a senior full-stack developer with 7+ years of commercial experience, based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain (EU timezone, GMT+1).

I specialize in WooCommerce, WordPress, and modern JavaScript — React, Next.js, TypeScript. What sets me apart from most developers: I don't just build e-commerce stores, I run one. My WooCommerce shop receives 100,000–150,000 visits per month and consistently delivers a 9+ ROAS on Facebook Ads. I understand the business side of online retail, not just the code.

I also build and sell my own WooCommerce plugins under the WooPlugs brand, focusing on performance optimization — tax memoization, option caching, and nav menu object caching. Real performance gains, measured in milliseconds per request.

My background spans the full stack: PHP 8+ OOP, WordPress/WooCommerce, React 18, Next.js 14, TypeScript, Node.js, Firebase, MySQL, Redis, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (Hetzner, AWS, Azure). I've set up full server stacks from scratch — OpenLiteSpeed, MariaDB, Redis, Cloudflare — and built CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

I work independently, communicate clearly, deliver on time, and write code that doesn't need to be rewritten six months later. I'm available for project-based work and long-term retainers.

Work Terms

Availability: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm CET (GMT+1). Usually respond within a few hours during business hours.

Rate: $55–65/hour depending on project scope. Fixed-price quotes available for well-defined projects. Retainer arrangements welcome for ongoing work.

Payment: I work with Guru's SafePay milestone system. For larger projects I prefer splitting into 2–3 milestones. I require a deposit before starting work on fixed-price projects.

Communication: English (fluent), Polish (native), Spanish (fluent). Prefer async communication via Guru messages for documentation purposes, with video calls for kickoff and major decisions.

What I need to start: clear project brief, staging or production environment login (FTP/SSH/cPanel), and an agreed scope. I provide a written summary of what was done after each milestone.
