I am a Uruguayan certified Public Translator who is interested in different cultures and is passionate about languages and history. Apart from being an avid reader, I am interested in and have some knowledge of linguistics and edition and proofreading of texts which allows me to deliver a natural translation according to the requirements of the client. My studies of translation in Law University, specializing in legal translation, taught me the different tools a translator needs to produce a good quality translation and prepared me to deal with new and challenging documents. During my period there I also delved in the translation and proofreading/edition of medical documents, patents, news and academic articles, CVs, degrees, diplomas and certificates. I also have experience teaching Englsih and Spanish as a Second Language. I am currently travelling around the world and learning about different cultures.
