Design and production of accessible electronic publications (ePUB 3 + WCAG), validated with Ace by DAISY, EPUB-Checker, and Kindle Previewer.
- Book Design & Publishing
Cover design and layout of books ready to be published on Amazon KDP, Apple Books, B&N, Google Play Books, Kobo Store, and other major retail bookstores.
- PDF & Document Remediation
Remediation of PDFs, Word, and PowerPoint files using Adobe Acrobat Pro and InDesign. PDF/UA compliance validated with Acrobat Pro, PAC 2026, PDF4WCAG Accessibility Checker, and veraPDF.
- Standards & Testing
Files compliant with ADA, AODA, EAA, EN 301 549, Section 508, PDF/UA-1, and WCAG 2.2 AA. Manual testing performed with JAWS, NVDA, pdfGoHTML, and VoiceOver.
All work done on a MacBook Pro, with accessibility built in at every step — not added at the end.
Work Terms
I always work remotely from Costa Rica (UTC-06), and I can receive payments with ACH transfers to US accounts. All done with a MacBook Pro and deliverables shared using Google Drive to easy access.
