I am a native Serbian speaker with years of freelance translation experience. I have numerous translations of both written and audio/video material under my belt, ranging from general content, medical and legal documents, to scientific papers and highly technical domains.
In addition to my linguistic skills, I hold a master’s degree in pharmacy and have two-year experience in Academia. Plus, I worked as an assessor and translator in a regulatory institution (Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices). With that being said, I understand complex medical terminology and concepts and thus I can be of help with translating medical documentation for marketing, training, clinical, or regulatory purposes.
I’m a professional with a strong work ethic that will provide you with an accurate translation of documentation for regulatory purposes (Summary of Products Characteristics (SmPC), Patient Information Leaflet (PIL), clinical protocols, case report forms, CTD, PSUR, instruction manuals for medical devices, GMP documentation, etc). Working on medical records, lab reports, patients' medical histories, hospital discharge papers and documents alike is what I’m familiar with too.
When translating marketing materials for medicinal products for the general public (product descriptions, brochures, leaflets) I can convey complex concepts, ideas, and terminology into easy-to-understand non-technical language appropriate for a layperson, while at the same time being aware of cultural sensitivity issues.
My perfectionism and commitment to each task are the reasons why the outcome ends up being an accurate translation that sounds natural and harmonious to a native speaker. The key to my successful work is doing plenty of research for every challenge I encounter. Also, I pay special attention to formatting and keeping the style of the original text, while localizing it into the target language.
