Work Terms

1) Scope of Work
Services as described in the approved project brief and proposals.
Out-of-scope requests will be handled via a new SOW or change order with agreed timelines and charges.
2) Deliverables & Milestones
Deliverables: detailed list (prototypes, code modules, documentation, test results, etc.).
Milestones: defined with due dates, acceptance criteria, and sign-off.
Acceptance: client reviews deliverables within 5–7 business days; lack of response is treated as acceptance.
Milestone example for payment alignment:

Milestone 1: Initial setup, architecture decisions, and core scaffolding.
Milestone 2: 70% completion (major features implemented, initial QA).
Milestone 3: Final delivery (polish, full QA, documentation, deployment-ready).
3) Fees & Payment
Upfront payment: 50% of the project fee due before starting work.
Mid-work payment: 25% due when approximately 70% of the work is completed (as determined by milestone review and client sign-off on milestone criteria).
Final payment: 25% due upon final delivery and acceptance of the project deliverables.
Currency: USD (adjust as needed).
Invoicing: invoices issued via the Guru platform; payments processed per Guru’s terms.
