About

Transparency, clarity, continuous dialog and hard work is what I am going to give you as client. I'm 100% committed and work tirelessly to solve your problems and help you reach your vision.

Last year, I decided to take make a dream come true, move from the big city and take over my family's country house. It was a huge challenge, there was no running water, insulation, bathroom facilities or other modern comforts. Despite people telling me it was not going to work, I put all my heart into it, worked as hard as I ever worked and at last, succeeded. It took the whole year, but now I can finally live and work from here.

Currently running my own firm (started at first in 2007 to do contract work in addition to my main occupation). The last months I have been working with Wordpress projects, a real-time chat web app in React and also updating my own website. I am now looking for more remote projects.

In 1997 I built my first commercial application. It was a video game rental app in VB that we used in the computer store where I worked after high school. Since then I have come across numerous technologies and languages, for example .NET/C#, PERL, JSP, C/C++, PHP etc. I have always used Javascript and love working with for instance the MERN stack. The last 5 years I have worked for both small and large companies focusing on Reacts.js, Node.js/Express with Webpack, and also Wordpress and PHP. I utilize the Agile method and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Delivery), with Scrum and Trello. Build and deploy with Jenkins/TeamCity, Octopus, Docker and version control with Git for a modular and automated workflow.

I love to educate myself and try different things, I've studied business economics, psychology, and languages. And, I am a certified sommelier (beverage specialist). I love the outdoors and am often running in the woods and along the nearby stream. When I can, I also hop on my motorbike and drive off on some winding road. My biggest passion though, which I spend most of my spare time on, is music. I listen to all kinds of music and play several instruments. One of my dreams is to build a studio out in the barn.

Love to hear about new ideas and projects!

Work Terms

I am flexible with regard to working hours etc, I work basically every day and will do what it takes to get the job done. The most important thing is that we build a professional relationship that works for both parties. Normally, I'm available for communication every day and always try to get back within 24 hours.

Prefer to communicate via email, so that we have everything documented, and I will be available on Messenger, Slack or the app of choice. I am also available through Skype and will of course pick up the phone when needed. As a client, if you don't prefer something else, you will be invited to a personal Trello board where we will gather everything connected to the project. This will guarantee a smooth working environment throughout the project.

Regarding payment, I normally utilize the 33% split-method. 33% at project start, after we agreed to the terms of the assignment. 33% when the first draft, working model, or what is appropriate for the project, is delivered. Lastly, 34% when the whole project is delivered.
