Highly organized, meticulous professional with a wealth of experience in legal and investigative research; legal and creative writing and editing, and administration and customer service.
I am a native English speaker with a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Florida. During law school, I served as Articles Editor of the Florida Law Review. I was also awarded the esteemed Gertrude Brick Award for my article published in the Florida Law Review. After graduating Order of the Coif, at the top of my class, I worked as an attorney for five years and have amassed extensive experience in legal and appellate researching, writing, and editing.
I retired from the practice of law in order to pursue my dream of opening a dance studio, but I am still available to perform legal jobs on a freelance basis. I have experience writing on a less formal, creative basis as well. I have worked independently as a marketing consultant and have written, ghost-written, and edited articles for publication on websites and blogs. I have also worked as a freelance content editor and proofreader. I am a quick study and eager to work with creative people on challenging, exciting opportunities. I look forward to hearing from you!
