I live by that Steve Jobs' quote: "Design is not how it looks like. Design is how it works." Hence I aspire to contribute my UI/UX design skills and graphics design knowledge to projects where a designer's job is more than just making things look pretty and fancy.
I am a millennial with big dreams, but I am also a freelancer with the work ethic of a Japanese Bullet Train. My revisions don't stop after a number. They stop when the users are satisfied by using a product that I helped design. An engineer by education, but a designer by passion.
Priorities in life: Pixels, Colours, Fonts, Love, Food, Travel. In that order.
Work Terms
I usually work on Hourly-billed model where the client has ongoing design requirements. I maintain and submit weekly timesheet with detailed hour distribution on each task I worked. The billing is done based on the timesheet every week, or month.
OR
I also work on Fixed-Cost model in projects where the scope of work is fully defined and clear. During the requirements understanding stage, I interview the client upon the features of the project, research required, and design dependencies. Based on that I provide a breakdown of total hours of my time required on the project and based on that I provide a fixed quote of amount, which is reimbursed in instalments during the course of the project.
