My name is Niamh and I am a freelance translator working with French, Spanish and English. I studied French and Spanish in university at an advanced level and am now fluent in both languages. I have experience with translating in both languages and have completed exams in translation as part of my university degree.
I also studied marketing which provided me with a throughout understanding of advertising and marketing copy. English is my native language, and I studied linguistics and completed a TESOL course which help me to provide perfect grammar and accuracy in translations into English.
I enjoy travel and have spent several months in Argentina, Spain and France, thus allowing me to expand my knowledge of French and Spanish to reach a more native level. I have a passion for languages, including English and spent 5 months teaching English to speakers of other languages. I really enjoy teaching as I love helping people to learn languages while also improving my own level of both English and the native language of the students. I spent 5 months studying in France and completed modules in literature, linguistics and politics, learning a wide range of vocabulary, idioms and grammatical structures that I can bring to my translation projects.
