Prior to my company, Rhetorinc., I wrote extensively for persuasive, educational, and entertainment purposes, and can easily shift between these styles. My passion is helping others say what they want to say, exactly how they want to say it, and I coach my clients to consistently achieve a style or voice that fits their brand. Rhetoric has always been a powerful study, as well selected words give feelings and thoughts a tangible existence, stirring the audience to move or act.
In exploring the many facets of rhetoric, I have been a writer, a teacher and a businessman. While I consider myself a creative, I also take great pleasure in being a skilled strategist and tactician of effectively reaching an audience, and forming relationships that foster community and commerce. Above all of these, I am a learner, someone who loves to experience and explore new concepts of persuasion, education, and discourse.
In my spare time, I love reading about cognitive and behavioral psychology, myths and epic stories, and learning Swedish. Like anyone else, I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends over a good craft beer or a decadent red.
