PhD Public Health | Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analysis | Lancet/GBD Co-author | Cochrane Collaboration Member
I'm a public health researcher with a PhD, 11 peer-reviewed publications (h-index 4), and nine years in evidence synthesis, biostatistics and health systems research. I'm a member of the Cochrane Collaboration and a named co-author on two Global Burden of Disease 2021 studies published in The Lancet.
My research background is applied, not just academic. I've served as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on grants from ICMR, UNOPS, NHM and HSTP totalling over INR 1.1 crore, covering decentralised TB care for tribal populations, medicine availability in remote districts, and evaluation of primary healthcare delivery through Health and Wellness Centres in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. I spent four years as an Assistant Professor teaching research methods and supervising master's dissertations, and I founded Utkarsh Research Network, an ISO 9001-certified research organisation. I also hold an Indian patent for an IoT pharmacy pill-counting device.
My published work spans non-communicable diseases, tribal and Indigenous health, nutrition and child health, health policy, and large-survey secondary analysis (NFHS-5 and similar datasets), in journals including The Lancet, Clinical Epidemiology and Global Health, and Obesity Medicine.
What you get working with me: methodologically correct work that survives peer review. I follow PRISMA and Cochrane standards properly, run analyses in R and STATA, and I'll tell you honestly if your research question needs reframing before we start — because a well-built review is worth more than a fast one.
Available for systematic reviews, meta-analyses, biostatistical analysis, survey data analysis, manuscript writing and editing, and journal submission support.
Work Terms
Based in Bhubaneswar, India (IST); I work with clients across time zones and typically respond within 12 hours. Communication in English through Guru messages; video consultations available on request.
I work through Guru SafePay with milestone-based payment terms. For larger projects (full systematic reviews, meta-analyses) I propose clear milestones — protocol, screening, analysis, manuscript — so you can review progress and release payment at each stage. Fixed-price agreements are scoped and confirmed in writing before work begins.
Before any engagement I'll tell you honestly whether your research question is feasible and what it should cost. I do not offer guaranteed publication or ghost-authorship for degree credit; my services are methodological consulting, statistical analysis, and editorial support.
