He is the founder of Neoforma Design, a successful design consultancy now 20 years. He believes systems and products that address people’s needs can shift attitudes and bring joy and positivity to their lives. He’s interested in future possibilities that return the person to a human scale of experience: touch, emotion, intimacy, satisfaction, and fulfillment of essential needs. Paul bring value to any effort in understanding insights and then translating that into tangible market opportunities that help people.
Paul has served large corporations, start-ups, non-profits, and more. His responsibilities have included leading, planning, and execution (strategically and tactically) of web and product interface, print, packaging, product design, corporate identity, and branding projects. Clients include Philips Healthcare, M*Modal, Carnegie Mellon Robotics, Near Earth Autonomy, Federated Investors, and Aethon, just to name a few.
Originally from Colombia South America, Paul is also a budding entrepreneur in the area of sustainability and problem solving through design. He speaks fluent Spanish and is the proud father of three beautiful children. He is the cofounder of the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project, a local non-profit advocacy group searching to keep young and young-thinking professionals within Pittsburgh and runs half marathons to stay healthy.
