More than 16+ years of embedded system and application software development and verification
• Currently working as a OPC startup (Development Head, co-founder) to design, build a secure IoT SoC and software product for remote monitoring and controlling of legacy device on top of OT network. Hands-on with C++/Java pn Linux/Android platform for writing communication driver for SoC serial interface, console back-end (server, data analytics, product security) interface and associated web or mobile application for customer management system.
• Exposure in process (NRE) and identifying scope of engagement with vendors who has already established connects with semi-conductor foundry for tape out of custom SoC.
• Previous - Senior Principal Architect (Linux/Android/Tizen/Chrome platform) had worked for mobile handset/device makers ODM(Qualcomm, Texas Instrument) to provide software solution in embedded system software and application for mobile, automotive, smart devices – IoT and IoE product line.
• Adept in full life-cycle management of software projects including roles of development, design & architecture, feature validation, testing, debug issues and provide team leadership to accomplish customer timely delivery and provide 24/7 online support.
• Application design, development, validation of software bring-up (boot-loader, kernel, device driver, native app), upgrade or productization of software platform Linux, Brillo (Google), Android Things, Tizen and Chrome for SoC’s (Qualcomm, Texas Instrument) Have detailed understanding of Linux boot process, kernel, driver architecture, BSP and native application layer, backend server logistics and web/mobile application.
• Proactive engagement with mobile handset makers to understand their pain points, develop corresponding solutions to guide them through various technology options in the form of technical workshops and deep dive technical discussions with mid to upper-level management customers as response to RFIs and RFPs.
Work Terms
I can work for 10-40 hours per week ( working days 5 out of 7 days) once we sign NDA and payment terms agreement with the vendors in engagement. Mostly my communication style is associated with skype or other agreed web based conference.
