About

I'm a single mom, perpetual student, and lover of the Oxford comma. A former GIFTED kid, I now read more for education and work than pleasure. While regrettable at the moment, it is necessary. I look forward to the day when I can again choose Stephen King over a non-fiction without guilt! When I do have spare time, I usually make pretty things. I love resin and fabric arts, but also love customizing existing items. I love my kids, our dogs, the beach, and thunderstorms. I work too much and overcompensate for that whenever I get the chance. Did I mention I love my kids? They're my sun, my moon, and all my stars.

Work Terms

I work as a freelancer in the "real" world, but I am always a mom first. Because of that, when I am home *and* awake is not always predictable. You may receive work at 3 AM or 3 PM. I do not typically work weekends; when quotes are given, Saturday and Sunday are not counted towards turn around time. Deadlines are very important to me and it's a matter of mutual respect that they are honored on both ends, whenever possible.
