I've built my career in the field of innovation, helping brands better understand the poorly met needs and frustrations of their consumers and helping them develop and launch products and services that respond to these needs. I've been fortunate to work on a wide and diverse portfolio of projects over the years, taking me all over the world, working in client businesses, designing and running consumer research, in consumers' homes, out shopping with them, cooking with them... designing and running workshops to gather insights and generate ideas. Every day is different and I love the diversity of the projects I work on and the people I work with. I have extensive experience in consumer goods/FMCG (particularly food and beverages and home care) and pharmaceutical sectors.
Having spent over a decade working agency-side, I setup as an independent consultant 4 years ago and have since been working on a variety of projects - a mixture of leading end-to-end innovation projects for clients, as well as working on discrete elements of projects remotely.
I hold myself and others I work with to very high standards and take pride in producing high quality deliverables for my clients. I love collaborating on projects and am commended for my ability to integrate well into established teams. I live and work in London but also love to travel, both for business and pleasure. I believe wholeheartedly that work should be fun and I thrive on projects where I share values with the team and am excited about the outcome we're collectively striving for.
Work Terms
I usually work on the basis of an 8 hour day, however I can be flexible in how and when I work and can flex according to project needs. In terms of working style, when working remotely I think it is advisable to have pre-agreed check in points to ensure project teams are on the same page and work is progressing as agreed - particularly when working together for the first time.
