About

Hi, my name is Shahid Munir. I am a visual effects artist. I have been passionate about creating stunning visual effects in films and TV shows ever since I was a child. Over the years, I have honed my skills in various areas such as match move camera tracking, keying, matte making, color grading, video editing, removing the green screen, background removal, image retouching, and much more.

One of the most critical skills that I have learned as a visual effects artist is match-move camera tracking. This technique involves tracking the movements of the camera in each shot and creating a virtual camera that matches the same movements. This process is crucial because it helps to ensure that the 3D elements used in the shot are integrated seamlessly with the live-action footage.

Another technique that I am proficient in is keying. Keying is the process of removing the background from a shot and replacing it with another image or video. This technique is often used when shooting on a green or blue screen. I use specialized software such as Nuke, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop to ensure that the key is accurate and seamless.

Matte-making is another essential technique in my work as a visual effects artist. This technique involves creating a matte or a mask around a specific object in a shot. This technique is often used when adding visual effects to a specific object or person in a shot. By creating a matte, I can ensure that the effects are only applied to the specific object or person and not the entire shot.

Color grading is another crucial aspect of my work as a visual effects artist. This technique involves manipulating the colors in a shot to create a specific mood or atmosphere. I use specialized software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve to ensure that the colors are balanced and consistent throughout the entire shot.

Video editing is another essential skill that I have honed over the years. This skill involves piecing together various shots to create a cohesive story. I use specialized software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro to ensure that the shots are edited seamlessly and that the story flows smoothly.

Removing the green screen is another technique that I use extensively in my work as a visual effects artist. This technique involves removing the green background from a shot and replacing it with another image or video. I use specialized software such as Nuke, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop to ensure that the removal is accurate and seamless.

Background removal is another technique that I use in my work as a visual effects artist. This technique involves removing the background from a shot entirely. This technique is often used when adding visual effects to a specific object or person in a shot. By removing the background, I can ensure that the effects are only applied to the specific object or person and not the entire shot.

Image retouching is another technique that I specialize in. This technique
