Shanika knew as early as elementary-school age that she wanted to become a writer; it was then that she would create stories of fiction and fantasy in her spare time or change the words of popular songs upon request to tell new stories to entertain friends. Shanika has a Bachelor's degree in advertising from Michigan State University and a Master's degree in communications from Grand Valley State University. Her expertise and experience ranges from writing, marketing communications, public relations, research, editing, public speaking, event planning and graphic design.
She is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in management/organizational leadership with aspirations of consulting, teaching and writing on the value of implementing better communication and diversity within the workplace to develop better relationships amongst leaders and employees. In her spare time, she loves to travel and shop, loves music, and loves to embark on new experiences and meet people. Originally from Muskegon Heights, Michigan, Shanika currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and proudly represents her fellow Tigers, Spartans, Lakers and Sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

I work from home so I am online most of the day and night. Email is the best way to reach me, and I respond to messages quickly. As far as work, I have a quick and efficient turn around time.
