Data Analyst, Swahili-English Localization & AI Data Annotation Specialist
I’m a detail oriented data professional and language specialist with a strong background in applied biology and research. My academic training has built my analytical mindset, making me highly systematic in how I handle, clean, and process information.
Currently, I offer freelance services focused on three core areas:
Statistical Data Analysis & R Programming: I write clean, reproducible R scripts and manage datasets using RStudio and Excel. I specialize in data cleaning, statistical modeling, and creating publication ready visualizations like heatmaps, correlation matrices, and custom charts.
AI Training Data & Annotation (RLHF/SFT): I have hands-on experience with AI model evaluation workflows. This includes Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), prompt engineering validation, and high-quality audio/video transcription. I know how to work under strict grading rubrics to produce clean training datasets.
Swahili-English Translation & Localization: As a native Swahili speaker who is fully fluent in English and living in Tanzania, I offer precise manual translations. I don't use automated tools that lose local context, I ensure every sentence sounds natural and culturally accurate to East African audiences.
My Approach:
I value clear communication, accuracy, and meeting deadlines. I prefer doing things right the first time, writing well-structured code, and delivering highly organized spreadsheets.
Work Terms
Availability: I am available for 20 to 30 hours per week. I check my messages regularly and usually reply within a few hours.
Preferred Communication: All communication should be done directly through the Guru platform. I prefer written messages for project updates and details so that we both have a clear record of our agreements.
Payment Terms: I accept both hourly and fixed-price contracts. For fixed-price projects, I prefer using milestones to track progress and payments.
Revision Policy: I want you to be completely satisfied with the final output. Every contract includes up to two rounds of revisions for minor adjustments, as long as they stay within the original project scope.
