Professional Experience
At Hakimo.ai, I work on backend systems powering an AI-driven security platform. I've built an automated incident-reporting pipeline handling multi-tenant business logic, engineered a webhook integration layer syncing real-time data from third-party services, and redesigned our notification system's retry logic — cutting failed delivery rates by 68%. I also work with Amazon DynamoDB and S3 for low-latency data storage and file handling.

I'm available for both short-term contract work and longer-term engagements, and I'm comfortable working independently in fully remote, asynchronous settings.
Work Terms
Availability: I typically work standard business hours but can adjust for overlap with your timezone on request. I aim to respond to all messages within 24 hours.
Communication: I prefer clear written specs upfront (even a rough one) so I can scope the work accurately. I provide regular progress updates and am happy to hop on a call for kickoff or complex requirements discussions.
Scope & Estimates: For fixed-price projects, I provide a detailed scope and cost estimate before starting, based on the requirements you share. Any changes to scope after work begins will be discussed and quoted separately to keep things transparent on both sides.
Payment: I work with Guru's SafePay for milestone-based projects to protect both parties. For larger projects, I prefer breaking work into milestones tied to deliverables rather than a single lump payment.
Revisions: I include reasonable revisions as part of the original scope to make sure the final deliverable matches what you needed. Major scope changes or new features are treated as separate work.
Code Quality: All code I deliver is clean, tested, and documented — I don't believe in leaving you with something only I can maintain. You'll get code you (or any future developer) can actually understand and build on.
Ownership: Upon final payment, you receive full rights to all code and deliverables I create for your project.
Long-Term Work: I'm open to ongoing contracts and retainer-based work for the right fit — happy to discuss terms if you're looking for a long-term collaborator rather than a one-off project.
