I could not decide between Chemistry or Chemical Engineering so I ended up studying both at University. Having both Degrees enables me to focus in and understand a process on a physiochemical / molecular level as well as on the macro / bulk scale understanding thermo physical properties as well.
I am a total geek when it comes to new tech and process breakthroughs and I read as much as I can on engineering articles, published papers and engineering videos online (Vlogs).
I work in a very diverse job where I am exposed to a range of industries; Tanneries, Landfill sites, Petrochem, Food and Beverage, Precious metal refinery, Hormone harvesting from plant sources etc (each with their own specific processes and challenges). It has made me into a very well rounded Chemical and Process Engineer
