A true computer geek with higher degrees who learnt his first programming language in 1986 at the age of 12 - on paper, before even getting his first microcomputer - and has learnt over a dozen computer languages since then.
Over a decade of professional experience in IT - software engineering, web development, systems administration, computer networking and internet security, teaching, managing projects and working in multicultural environments for organisations of all types and sizes, including FTSE100, startups and academia.
Working with GNU/Linux since 1998 and with Python since 2006.
