UTHZEN is a Brooklyn born Freelance Artist (Illustrator & Graphic Designer) who was blessed with the talent to draw and express himself visually. In 1993, Uthzen became fascinated with the personal computer, which propelled him toward doing digital art during his years at Art & Design high school. After high school, Uthzen struggled to find the balance between his love of art and the need to make a living doing what he loved, so he enrolled in college as a graphic artist to try to find the missing link. Two years later, Uthzen became consumed by the world-wide-web and started to learn the ins-&-outs of Web Design. After working as a Graphic Artist / Web Designer for several years, Uthzen stopped working for big companies in 2007 and decided to use his talents to help small businesses. After over 5 years of helping small businesses grow, Uthzen now currently works as a Freelance illustrator and pursues his passions as a full time artist.

What Inspires You? Music, Native Cultures, Movies, Animation, Video Games (RPG), Fashion & Cinematography.
Where are you from? Brooklyn (/'br?kl?n/) NYC – Borough of New York City.
Why do you continue to draw? It’s the only “thing” that keeps me excited about life.
