About

Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Technology Consultant providing services that increase increase operational efficiency and mitigate regulatory and business risk.

I believe compliance is the natural outcome of well-designed processes and workflows. When done effectively, compliance is invisible to the productive professional — it facilitates good work rather than obstructing it — while creating meaningful friction only for those attempting to circumvent the rules. I view new regulatory requirements not as burdens, but as opportunities to improve workflows, strengthen controls, and build more resilient organizations.

With over 20 years leading compliance and governance at financial institutions, I have designed and implemented comprehensive internal control and compliance programs covering investment management oversight, treasury operations, pension administration, and regulatory reporting. My work has included developing and assessing IT control frameworks, conducting data analytics reviews to identify anomalies in financial transactions, and performing operational compliance examinations across banking, trading, and investment advisory activities. I hold the CFE and CCEP designations and am actively pursuing the IAPP AIGP certification in AI Governance.

Today, I bring that same practical, process-driven mindset to AI governance and data work. I actively perform AI data annotation and model evaluation while advising organizations on AI risk management, third-party due diligence, and the responsible implementation of emerging technologies. I’m passionate about advancing the compliance profession — there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the “Now I understand what you do” light-bulb moment when someone finally sees how effective compliance enables better business outcomes rather than simply getting in the way.

Work Terms

Contract 1099 Payment Terms: Minimum project engagement fee $2,500 USD
Payments by schedule and payable within 7 days. Fixed Fee Projects: 50% up front of project fee. 50% paid upon completion of the project.
