Yosef Fekadu is a finance and development expert with over 20 years of progressive experience in financial management, grant coordination, budgeting, and institutional capacity building. He holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance and has served in various leadership roles in government, NGOs, and donor-funded projects. His professional journey includes positions such as Grant Manager, Finance Officer, Budget Controller, and Internal Auditor, demonstrating a deep commitment to accountability, transparency, and results-driven operations.

Yosef is currently serving as Budget and Finance Team Leader and has recently concluded a seven-year term as Acting Grant Manager. His portfolio includes managing multi-donor grants, leading automation reforms in public finance, and mentoring financial teams across sectors. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and brings both technical precision and strategic thinking to his work.

As a co-founder of Inclusive Ethiopia, an NGO advancing the rights of persons with disabilities, Yosef combines his financial leadership with a passion for inclusive development. He recently completed a postgraduate program in Community Leadership and Executive Management, jointly offered by Addis Ababa University and Jönköping University, further strengthening his cross-sector leadership capabilities.

Yosef is known for his integrity, collaborative spirit, and ability to align financial systems with mission-driven goals. He thrives in multicultural environments and is committed to creating systems that serve both efficiency and equity.

Work Terms

1. Hours of Operation (Part-Time):

Available: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (GMT+3 / East Africa Time)

Weekend availability or extended hours can be arranged in advance based on project needs or urgent deadlines.

Flexibility may be offered depending on the nature of the assignment and mutual agreement.

2. Work Engagement Terms:

Engagements are accepted on a part-time, consultancy, or project-based basis.

Clear terms of reference (ToR), including deliverables, timelines, and scope, must be agreed upon before work begins.

3. Payment Terms:

Preferred payment method: Bank Transfer (ETB, USD, or EUR)

Standard billing: based on hourly rates, daily rates, or deliverable-based fees, depending on the agreement.

Payment due within as per the contract.

A detailed invoice will be provided, including time worked and deliverables submitted.

5. Confidentiality and Work Ethics:

All assignments are treated with strict confidentiality and professionalism.

Willing to sign confidentiality agreements or NDAs upon request.
