ENGINEERING APPROACH


I normally begin by reviewing the product objective, development stage, available files, interfaces, expected quantities, enclosure constraints, operating environment, compliance targets, and the client’s main technical concern. For complex work, architecture review and finalization are completed before detailed circuit or PCB design begins.


I review power architecture, interfaces, grounding, thermal behaviour, RF constraints, component lifecycle, testability, EMI/EMC exposure, enclosure limits, sourcing, DFM, DFA, and DFT before they become costly physical problems.


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE


11+ years in electronics development, 500+ assignments, 11,000+ Upwork hours, IPC-certified capability, and PCB experience up to 32 layers.


Projects may be completed hourly or through clearly defined milestones. Components, fabrication, assembly, shipping, laboratory certification, paid software/services, and other third-party costs are separate unless specifically included.
