I also take over existing codebases: bug fixing, new features, refactoring, .NET version upgrades and performance work on applications someone else started.
How it runs: we agree scope and screens up front, I build in milestones you can see and test, and you get a short written update at each one. Clean, commented, maintainable code and full source handover on completion.
