Backed up by my Spanish Diploma, I cover general, business, technical, and finance subjects, while relevant industry experience ensures accurate translations in computer related and other engineering fields. I also proofread and edit British English and German. I am an independent translator, who is committed to providing high quality and timely translations. I have several long-term translation contracts and a high rate of repeat business. My rates are fair and reasonable. I work 7 days a week and am often available at short notice. If you require a very fast turnaround, I will charge extra for this. I offer also offer proofreading and editing services. While I easily spot errors on other people’s text, I appreciate that even I am not immune to making one. On larger projects that are not subject to extreme deadlines, I will therefore usually engage an external proofreader myself. I focus on quality and I deliver every time. This takes more time and effort than simply rushing through a translation and applying the next best term. I do not want to deliver work of that standard and will not work for the price associated with it. There are others, who specialize in that form of translation. I do not attempt to compete on that basis - you get what you pay for. When I bid on your project, the estimated time is based on my availability at the point of placing the offer. If you award the job several days or even weeks later, I may be engaged on another project. If this affects the delivery schedule, I will inform you before accepting the offer. I expect projects to be funded, before I start working on them. Once I submit a translation, I will remain available for questions and feedback, as well as any desired alterations. I welcome a thorough review of my work, before the payment is released. I work hard to deliver work on time and equally appreciate timely payment.
