A military veteran well over 13 years of training as a Server Support Technician. Some sample environments I've worked in to provide server support are below: Location Near: Lompoc, California Title: Section Manager Objective: Keep the standalone system operational for use by Government Civilians. The standalone system being composed of Dell hardware with Microsoft Windows OS software, MAC desktops, and Dell hardware with Linux OS software. Tasks accomplished while there: Oversaw operation and maintenance of this unique system valued at $8.5M by being the first line system administrator. I coordinated site visits with the outside agencies responsible for engineering the system to ensure all photographic/video editing suites remained operational in the proper state. Prepared video system for major upgrade by reviewing 51 requirements identifying 17 issues which required equipment upgrades to bring the system to optimal performance. I was one of the key players in technical support that allowed 11 missions to be successful amounting to $3.7B per year for two years to be brought in as re-venue.
