I help clients develop reliable, low-power, connected hardware for IoT products, smart devices, remote monitoring, control, tracking, and data acquisition.
This service is ideal for IoT startups, smart-product teams, industrial monitoring companies. It is structured for commercially serious projects where reliability, performance, documentation, communication, and production readiness matter more than simply completing a drawing.
SERVICE SCOPE
✅ IoT architecture, processor/module selection, sensor integration, connectivity, security-hardware considerations, and power strategy
✅ Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, LoRa/LoRaWAN, GNSS, cellular/LTE-related, Ethernet, RS-485, CAN, and gateway interfaces as required
✅ Battery charging, low-power modes, wake-up sources, power budgeting, protection, and field-reliability planning
✅ RF-aware schematic and PCB design, antenna placement, keepouts, matching-network provisions, grounding, and enclosure coordination
✅ Prototype bring-up, connectivity validation, sensor verification, current-consumption measurement, and manufacturing preparation
✅ Firmware coordination and interface documentation for software teams
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
✅ Architecture, schematic, PCB source, BOM, fabrication/assembly outputs, and STEP model
✅ Interface documentation and hardware test plan
✅ Prototype findings and production-handover documentation when included
ENGINEERING APPROACH
I normally begin by reviewing the product objective, development stage, available files, interfaces, expected quantities, enclosure constraints, operating environment, compliance targets, and the client’s main technical concern. For complex work, architecture review and finalization are completed before detailed circuit or PCB design begins.
Connected products commonly fail due to weak power design, antenna/enclosure interaction, noisy sensors, insufficient test access, unstable field power, component shortages, or poor coordination between hardware and firmware. These risks are addressed early.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Relevant work includes industrial monitoring, smart agriculture, connected consumer products, wireless controllers, sensor nodes, gateways, and battery-operated IoT devices.
Projects may be completed hourly or through clearly defined milestones. Components, fabrication, assembly, shipping, laboratory certification, paid software/services, and other third-party costs are separate unless specifically included.
To receive an accurate scope, please share the product requirements, existing schematic or PCB files, block diagram, datasheets, mechanical information, expected deliverables, target schedule, and any known technical issues.
