Smart Tire Pressure Monitoring and Quality Control System
Developed a smart tire pressure monitoring system for manufacturing and quality control environments using the MPS20N0040D pressure sensor, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication, and a microcontroller-based data acquisition unit.
The system is designed to measure and monitor air pressure inside vehicle tires in real time during production, testing, and quality assurance processes. Pressure data is collected from BLE-enabled sensor nodes installed within the tires and transmitted wirelessly to a central microcontroller. The microcontroller processes the incoming sensor readings and forwards the data to a Node-RED-based desktop monitoring application.
The desktop application provides a user-friendly interface for real-time visualization of tire pressure values, allowing operators and quality engineers to track the condition of each tire individually. The system enables continuous monitoring, instant detection of pressure deviations, and verification of tire quality before shipment or deployment.
