• Document and invoice processing: fetch from a mailbox or storage, extract fields with OpenAI or Claude, validate, post to accounting or ERP, and flag exceptions to a person.
• Support and ticket triage: classify, draft answers from your knowledge base (RAG), create Jira or Zendesk tickets.
• Reporting: scheduled pulls from databases and APIs into Slack, your inbox or Google Sheets.
• Custom code nodes in JavaScript, or a small .NET or Node.js microservice when n8n needs something it does not have.
HOW I WORK
• Self-hosted n8n on Docker or Kubernetes with backups and credentials handled properly, or n8n Cloud if you prefer.
• Error handling, retries and alerting on every workflow, so failures never go unnoticed.
• A document for each workflow and a hand-over session.
