I help clients bring up, test, debug, and validate a new PCB or unstable electronic prototype using a structured engineering process.
This service is ideal for Startups, remote engineering teams, product companies, PCB designers. It is structured for commercially serious projects where reliability, performance, documentation, communication, and production readiness matter more than simply completing a drawing.
SERVICE SCOPE
✅ Visual inspection, assembly check, shorts/resistance review, current-limited initial power-up, rail validation, and thermal observation
✅ Clock, reset, boot, programming/debug, communication-interface, sensor, actuator, relay, audio, display, RF-support, and I/O verification
✅ Power sequencing, ripple, transient behaviour, current consumption, load testing, noise investigation, and fault reproduction
✅ Hardware-versus-firmware issue isolation and coordination with the software developer
✅ Design-error identification, rework planning, corrective-action recommendations, and revision support
✅ Test documentation and manufacturing-test recommendations
WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
✅ Bring-up checklist, measurement records, photos/screenshots, and issue log
✅ Root-cause assessment with prioritized corrective actions
✅ Validation report and recommended schematic/PCB changes
ENGINEERING APPROACH
I normally begin by reviewing the product objective, development stage, available files, interfaces, expected quantities, enclosure constraints, operating environment, compliance targets, and the client’s main technical concern. For complex work, architecture review and finalization are completed before detailed circuit or PCB design begins.
Testing scope depends on available prototypes, firmware, programming tools, fixtures, external equipment, communication services, loads, sensors, and expected operating conditions. Destructive testing or formal compliance testing is quoted separately.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
I maintain an equipped electronics laboratory for prototype bring-up, measurement, debugging, and hardware validation.
Projects may be completed hourly or through clearly defined milestones. Components, fabrication, assembly, shipping, laboratory certification, paid software/services, and other third-party costs are separate unless specifically included.
To receive an accurate scope, please share the product requirements, existing schematic or PCB files, block diagram, datasheets, mechanical information, expected deliverables, target schedule, and any known technical issues.
