Resumes & Cover Letters

$50/hr Starting at $100

I am the go-to resume/cover letter/job application resource among my friends, family, and their networks. I couldn't tell you where it came from, but I LOVE working with resumes. I prefer to have a starting point, so whatever you have currently is great, but my strength comes from putting my writing/word expertise into your resume to transform it from outdated/blah/boring to you saying "I would hire that person!" when looking at your own resume. I have best practices that I will share with you throughout the process so you can carry them with you going forward, making you a resume expert as well! A typical resume review/revision takes me around 2 hours, unless the nature of your work requires more communication from me to make sure I'm interpreting everything correctly while I'm working. I have experience with intern resumes and internship application letters/processes, professional resumes and cover letters, military resume conversions to "common speak" for employers to understand, retail background translations, technical resumes, etc. The most important thing in a resume is to craft it in the best way to sell yourself to the hiring manager who's reviewing hundreds of resumes including yours, and I bring the flare you need. Additionally, I have a lot of experience and tips for searching for positions, following up after applications are submitted, and how to respond to interview & application questions. Lastly, along with helping with your actual resume documents, I am happy to help you either a) set up or b) enhance your LinkedIn profile in order to have increased success finding connections that will (hopefully) lead to job opportunities.
