Bio:

Hi, my name is Richard Morin and I'm a CAD technician completing the industrial drafting program at Rosemount Technology Centre in Montréal, Canada. I will be beginning an internship program as of December 4th 2023 and graduating in January 2024.


My background is of 15+ years in general contracting. I've gained experience in a number of areas of the construction industry from plumbing, carpentry, industrial coatings, renovations & finishing, electrical, flooring, demolition etc. I believe my broad knowledge of the trades, along with my attention to detail and strong sense of organization, could find itself useful to your project and/or organization.

Detailed below are my professional skills and assets in computer-aided design in industrial applications.  

Professional Skills

 -Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks software in 2D and 3D

-Modelling of circuit & piping schematics  

-Planning and design of transmission systems

-Preparing detail drawings in accordance to industry standards

-Basic understanding in material properties and strength calculations.

-Creation of animation videos for assemblies and their functionalities.

-Working knowledge of Revit 3D, Photoshop, Illustrator, Gimp, Excel, and Word

-Familiarity with Kanban, 6 Sigma and 5s organization systems
