To maximize the uptime and increase productivity in the manufacturing units, we
developed a IoT application that can be connected with a sensor device that monitors and
tracks the performance of the machines and provides analytical data.
Due to a TCP/IP - server - data – application, Colan suggested using Dot Net because of
TCP/IP conn, dot net will support 1000, 2000 devices when its connected, speed and traffic
of data, MySQL cannot manage it hence sql server has been recommended the amount of
data that flows. For Analytics chart - they can invest based on what they see hence we
integrated Speedometer, Highlow graph as 3rd party for the pictorial/graphical report.
