Training

I have over fifteen years of training development and delivery including computer-based training, web-based training and stand-up classroom delivery. While at Ernst & Young, I conceived, designed, developed and implemented The Center for Learning Innovation (CLI), an advanced, focused center for the development of training, organizational change and performance support initiatives. This was a new concept in training development that leveraged both current information technology as well as start-of-the-art techniques in organizational change and facilitation. I also developed and deployed a professional sales training program which, when we stopped measuring its results, had already added more than $100 million in sales to the firm over a two-year period. I designed the Management Consulting Competency Model, as well as the firm-wide competency framework, and developed a competency-driven, component-based development process for training initiatives that saved over 25% in the cost of training development and maintenance. I also developed what was then one of the first web-enabled training systems for the global implementation of SAP and its supporting processes at a fortune 500 chemical company. I have also developed the Information Technology Competency Model for the American Institute of CPAs.
