Hey, I'm Amr — a Software Engineer, AI Productivity Trainer, and Arabic Content Strategist based between Kuwait and Malaysia.
By day I work as a DevOps Engineer with enterprise experience at SICPA, a Swiss multinational where I built CI/CD pipelines, automated testing infrastructure, and deployment workflows for live government projects across three countries. I'm a Computer Science graduate with a 3.75 CGPA and a genuine love for building things that actually work in production — not just on paper.
But that's only one side of what I do.
I'm also one of the very few bilingual Arabic/English AI trainers in the GCC market. I've spent years going deep on AI tools — not just using them, but understanding how to get the most out of them for real professional workflows. I've built original Arabic AI training materials from scratch, delivered workshops to professionals and students, and co-founded Shamma (شمعة), an Arab tech community of 100+ members in Malaysia.
On the content side, I've been a scriptwriter and content strategist for خُد فكرة, an Arabic educational YouTube channel with 108,000 subscribers — where I research complex topics, synthesise academic sources, and deliver production-ready Arabic scripts that genuinely inform and engage Arab audiences.

Work Terms
I'm available for both fixed-price projects and hourly engagements depending on scope. For new clients, I prefer to start with a clearly defined fixed-price project so we can establish trust and working rhythm before moving to ongoing arrangements.
Communication: I'm most responsive on Guru messages/Whatsapp. I aim to reply within 24 hours on weekdays. For larger projects I provide structured weekly updates so you always know where things stand.
Hours: Flexible and async-friendly. I work across Kuwait and Malaysia time zones (GMT+3 and GMT+8) and can accommodate most client schedules for calls and check-ins.
Payment: I work with Guru's SafePay milestone system for all projects. Milestones are agreed upfront before work begins — no surprises on either side.
I don't take on more projects than I can deliver properly. If I'm at capacity, I'll tell you upfront rather than overpromise!!.
