I have a passion for user-centered design and never shy away from exploring new design mediums. I primarily work as a UX Designer but have experience as a graphic designer and a developer.
My name is Behrouz and I am a Computer Science and Statistics graduate from the University of British Columbia, currently residing in California. I have a passion for UX Design and it has been my focus for the past 3 years.
I have worked on mobile and web applications as a designer and developer. I also create graphic assets (icons, logos, infographics, etc). I am comfortable working in different mediums of design and never shy away from anything new. My primary tools are the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and a handful of mock-up and prototyping tools such as Zeplin, InVision, and Flinto. Some areas that I have experience in are digital design, print design, and poster design.
I also have a background as a developer and work with web languages (HTML, CSS, JS) and frameworks. I am comfortable using Git (Bitbucket, Github) for version control and a handful of communication platforms like Trello or Slack.
I plan on continuing my career as a UX/UI designer because my passion lies in user-centered design, and creating a seamless experience for the user, no matter the task.
Work Terms
I am very flexible in terms of communication and hours of work. I am located on the west coast but have no problem tuning myself to other time zones.
