Designs that tell stories — from elegant UIs to expressive visuals. I create functional, aesthetic, and meaningful designs that connect people, ideas, and emotions.
I’m Dai Youssef — an Architecture and Project Management student from Alexandria, Egypt, and a passionate graphic and UI/UX designer.
My journey into design began long before I realized it was my calling — sketching ideas in studio classes, creating posters for university events, and helping friends brand their small projects. What started as curiosity became a craft built on purpose: to design with empathy and intention.
🌿 My Mission
To create designs that not only look beautiful but also feel human. I believe design is a language — one that bridges creativity, function, and emotion. Whether it’s a wedding invitation that captures a love story, a sleek mobile interface that simplifies life, or a social media post that inspires engagement — I aim to make every design meaningful.
💼 Experience & Expertise
I’ve gained hands-on experience through:
Customer service and communication roles at Sutherland and Vodafone UK, where I learned how to understand people’s needs clearly — a skill that translates directly into user-centered design.
Freelance and creative work designing invitations, banners, PowerPoint presentations, and app interfaces for clients on platforms like Khamsat, Nafezly, and Guru.
UI/UX training and project work, where I built user flows, prototypes, and design systems using tools like Figma, balancing creativity with functionality.
My background in architecture shapes the way I design: every detail must serve a purpose, and every element must belong.
💡 Values & Approach
I approach every project with these principles:
Clarity — Simple, structured designs that speak without clutter.
Empathy — Understanding who will use or view the design and why.
Adaptability — Each project is unique, and I adapt my style to fit your goals and audience.
Honesty — I value open communication and transparency through every step of the process.
🎨 A Little About Me
Outside of work, I love painting, reading (Paulo Coelho is my all-time favorite), and exploring sustainability and human rights topics — they remind me that good design always has a purpose beyond aesthetics.
I also enjoy working out, experimenting with color palettes, and learning how design can drive social change.
🌍 My Promise
When you work with me, you’re not just hiring a designer — you’re partnering with someone who genuinely cares about your project, your audience, and your story. My goal is to deliver visuals that feel right, not just look right.
Let’s bring your vision to life — beautifully, thoughtfully, and on time.
