Desfigura is a portuguese company that seeks to create new objects and products from all kind of materials, instilling them with new meanings and values, by giving them a cosmopolitan nature

Teresa Silva is a sweet, outgoing and very fun girl!
When we see her at work we quickly realize her passion and love for everything she does. She's extremely committed and dedicated in her work tasks, which performs with great skill and joy.

Studied "Equipment Design" on ESAD (School of Arts & Design in Matosinhos, Portugal) where she acquired a greater sensitivity and awareness of the potential that different materials can offer; when she lays her eyes on new found materials, it happens in a peculiar way and her artistic vein is immediately noticeable.

The Desfigura creation came from the need to easily explore, different uses of available materials, recycling and transforming them, with no barriers or impediments. Teresa loves to explore and play with several materials; the result are... unique products that possess a bit of her personality.

The main goal: make the world that surrounds her more colourful and fun.

Work Terms

Hello, welcome to our Guru profile!

At Desfigura we typical work from 10am-7pm from Monday to Saturday. And that is the time when you can find our store in the Guimarães city centre wide open for our clients and visitors.

We do love to create new products and to give them a new meaning and a more personal touch, and though that's something we really enjoy doing - check our Etsy store for some of the products we own - we also enjoy to provide customized design and illustrated products to our clients.

Besides producing some unique end products for the general customers in our store, we also provide our design services for companies in the region and some across Europe.

The typical services provided are:
