I am an English teacher with over 3 years of experience. I have acquired 3 certificates from the highly accredited school i-to-i: 120 hours TEFL certificate, 30 hours (Teaching Young Learners) TEFL certificate and 30 hours (Advanced Grammar) TEFL certificate.
Work Terms
I create lesson plans suited for different CEFR levels, age groups and learning styles: Kinesthetic, Visual and Audio lingual. The material I provide aims to enhance the four skills of language: listening, speaking, reading and writing; this is why I also provide audio files with my lesson plans where needed. Most of my lesson plans follow the PPP structure where each stage offers the student enough practice time and an opportunity to use the Target language (TL) spontaneously during the performance stage. My materials are focused and have clear lesson goals that are purposed to achieve maximum results.
I am equipped with skills of lesson planning, classroom management, Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL), business English, Teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), etc.
I have taught general and business English to students of various ages and CEFR levels, including children. I have also prepared students and adults for international exams such as TOFEL and IELTS (both Academic and General).
As an online teacher, I have had the privilege of teaching English to students from all walks of life and various parts of the world, including Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan and much besides.
I am currently working as a part-time English teacher and a lesson plan writer. I also work with a group of certified English teachers who are currently working at prestigious online schools such as Berlitz, FluentBe and TutorABC.
