Work Terms
A specialist’s hourly rate depends on the types of tasks to be undertaken, his or her qualifications and the duration of the project. We prefer to work via Guru. . When working via Elance, our minimum hourly rate is $40. We accept RUR, USD, and EUR. For large projects we almost always require a paid design stage or clear ready-made requirements specification so that detailed project stages and a schedule of payments can be drawn up and agreed upon.
There are four main payment options: 1. Hourly rate for actual hours worked. Before the project commences, the client makes a prepayment (or “deposit”) equal to the team’s monthly fee. Can start from 40 hours prepaymanet minimum. This deposit is kept for the duration of the project and is later used to cover the cost of the final month’s work. Prior to the start of the project, the client must also pay for the team’s first month’s work. Thereafter, monthly payments are conducted on the 1st-5th of every month. 2. Fixed cost of up to $2,000. Prepayment 50%, remaining 50% payable upon project completion and full acceptance. 3. Fixed cost of up to $20,000. Prepayment 35%, mid-project payment 35% (following release of the beta version), remaining 30% payable upon project completion and full acceptance. 4. Fixed cost of over $20,000. Prepayment of up to 35%, remaining payments to be made upon the completion of each stage in accordance with the schedule of payments.
