My name is Gabriela and I'm a Canadian-born creative front-end web developer living in Aveiro, Portugal. I am truly passionate about anything involving web development, design and social media, and I am looking to expand my knowledge and create great web resources by taking on new interesting and exciting projects. Fully functional, beautiful and seamless user experience is what I aim for when I develop and design an interface
Currently, I am a front-end web developer at a telecommunications company in Portugal, and would love to move on to working on new projects. I am fluent in Portuguese, a language that I have spoken my whole life, and have Portuguese citizenship. My University degree was also earned at the University of Aveiro, in Portugal. My skill set is shown in my CV, and I am open to learning new things and accepting challenges. I have traveled through Europe (having been part of a European students’ organization) to attend multiple workshops on marketing, web development and social media, as well as for leisure. I believe that this is a great asset regarding my flexibility to work in diverse teams and adapt to new environments and cultures.
I believe that I can offer a fresh take on the overall user experience and interface design and, most importantly, know how to implement the ideas that I have through front-end code. I believe that the offered position is one where I can learn and thrive as a young developer.
