Passionate front end web developer with growing portfolio

I began working in the mortgage industry to fulfill my financial needs while continuing to pursue my desire to become a physical therapist. After applying to schools for multiple years, I finally realized I was really enjoying my time as an auditor because of one thing: my computer. I began tinkering around in my off time building, troubleshooting, and configuring personal PCs for others who wanted machines for gaming, music, photo editing, and general use. However, after every project it felt incomplete without knowing how things worked on the inside.

After obtaining several years of experience playing with hardware as a hobby, I made the decision to dive into learning what's going on inside. I enrolled into the nearest course I could find, which was Kansas City Launchcode's first generation of CS50x (more info here: http://education.launchcode.org/cs50x-kansascity/ ). It was in this course I had yet another important revelation: I really enjoyed it and web-application languages. 40 hours of work was met with 30-35 hours of programming every week, and I couldn't seem to put it down.

I recently completed CS50x, and I couldn't be more excited about applying what I learned towards front-end web development. After learning part of web-based technologies, I uncovered a passion for bridging the gap between product and user via UX-Design.
