I have worn a lot of hats in my career. Starting out I learned to program by creating efficient macros and small programs in Visual Basic so I didn't have to repeat the same work over and over again. From there I quit my job and went back to school and fell in love with the puzzle that is programming. I have always been obsessed with finding the most efficient way to solve any problem and this gave a great outlet for that.
After 2 years I moved to North Carolina and found a position at a company that created phone applications. While there I learned Node.js, Objective C, and PHP, and acted as both a database administrator (both MongoDB and MySQL), Linux admin and a developer. During this time the majority of my work was focused on the back-end development.
Since leaving that position, I have worked with macros more, dabbled in Python, built APIs and creation automation that handled sensitive information on a large scale. I have also worked with Oracle SQL and continued to build software on both Windows and Linux as needed for the position.
Work Terms
Availability: I am available on weekends, and during the week beginning at 6PM.
Payment Terms: I am always willing to negotiate payment, but before any code is handed over payment must be made. Demonstrations of working code can be provided prior to that transaction.
