My name is Laarnie Espra. I'm from General Santos City in the Philippines.

From working as a community field worker, serving Indigenous peoples, to stepping into the digital world as a virtual assistant, my path has been shaped by challenges, growth, and the pursuit of a better future for my family..I began my career as a Virtual Assistant in 2023.
For 13 years, I worked closely with communities, listening to their stories and helping them navigate challenges. It was fulfilling but also demanding, both physically and emotionally. When my time in that role ended, I found myself at a crossroads—uncertain yet hopeful. I needed a career that would allow me to support my family while giving me the flexibility to be present for them.
That’s when I discovered the world of virtual assistance. At first, it felt overwhelming. The digital landscape was unfamiliar, and I had no idea where to start. But one thing was clear: I was ready to learn.
In my most recent role as a Lead Generation Specialist,
I was responsible for sourcing and verifying leads across different industries like legal, accounting, and human resources.

I’ve become proficient on various tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zerobounce, and email platforms like Outlook to reach out to qualified prospects and support business growth.
I’m also confident using tools such as:
Slack for project management,
Zoom and Skype for communication,
Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite for admin tasks.
Starting out as a virtual assistant wasn’t easy. I had to familiarize myself with new tools, understand client expectations, and navigate the fast-paced environment of lead generation. The pressure of quotas and restrictions made things even more challenging. But instead of giving up, I chose to grow. Each challenge became an opportunity to learn. I honed my skills, adapted to new systems, and slowly built my confidence. However, I realized that while lead generation was a great starting point, I wanted something more—something that aligned with my creativity and passion.


For creative work, I have basic graphic design skills using Canva, and I edit videos using CapCut . I'm also familiar with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Now, I’m exploring social media management, eager to expand my skills and offer more value. I’ll continue to keep on striving for improvement and encourage others to do the same.

Work Terms

Hours of Operation
My standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (GMT+8, Philippine Time). I am open to occasional flexibility depending on project needs, deadlines, or time zone requirements, with prior notice. Please note that weekends and Philippine holidays are typically non-working days unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

Payment Terms
I accept payments via PayPal, Wise, or direct bank transfer, depending on your preferred method.
• Hourly Projects: Tracked via time-tracking tools; billed weekly or bi-weekly.
• Fixed-Rate Projects: 50% upfront and 50% upon completion, unless otherwise discussed.
• Monthly Retainers: Due at the start of each billing cycle.

Invoices are sent with clear breakdowns of services rendered. Standard payment terms are within 7 days of invoice date. Late payments may incur a small fee after a grace period of 3 days.

Preferred Communication Style
Clear, respectful, and prompt communication is important to me. I prefer using the following platforms:
• Email – For official correspondence, task confirmations, and documentation
• Slack or Microsoft Teams – For real-time updates and quick clarifications
• Zoom or Google Meet – For scheduled meetings or progress reviews

I typically respond to messages within 24 hours during business days. I value open communication and feedback, and I strive to keep clients updated on timelines, progress, and any roadblocks that may arise.
