Work Terms
1.These Company Work Terms govern the relationship between MarkX Technologies, hereinafter referred to as "the Company", and its employees, contractors, freelancers, or any other parties involved in providing services to the Company, hereinafter referred to as "the Worker(s)".
2.The Worker agrees to perform the tasks and responsibilities outlined in the agreement, contract, or job description provided by the Company. Any additional tasks or modifications to the scope of work must be agreed upon by both parties in writing.
3.The Worker will be compensated according to the terms specified in the agreement, contract, or job description. Compensation may be based on hourly rates, project-based fees, salaries, or other mutually agreed-upon terms. Payment schedules and methods will also be outlined in the agreement.
4.Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared during the course of their engagement. This includes but is not limited to proprietary information, trade secrets, and client data. The Worker shall not disclose such information to any third party without the prior written consent of the Company.
5.Any work product, inventions, or intellectual property created by the Worker during the course of their engagement with the Company shall belong to the Company. The Worker agrees to assign all rights, title, and interest in such intellectual property to the Company.
6.Either party may terminate the engagement upon written notice to the other party. The Company reserves the right to terminate the engagement immediately for cause, including but not limited to breach of contract, misconduct, or violation of company policies.
7.The Worker acknowledges and agrees that they are an independent contractor and not an employee of the Company. As such, the Worker is responsible for their own taxes.
