English to Portuguese Translator
I’m a native Portuguese speaker with a strong passion to translate an English document to an elegant well-structured Portuguese text with excellent grammar.
I’ve around 10 years of experience with the English language (talking with Americans and Canadians) and almost 2 years of experience in the Translation Industry.
I’ve worked with clients worldwide, including agencies, companies, non-profit organizations and the general public.
My specialization is technical translation for Computer Software and Hardware documents and technical and general translation for the Games Industry, but I also work with other types of documents depending on the terminology density - I’ve done literary translations and many general translations, including business contracts and partnership agreements, certificates, marketing messages, subtitle translation, blog posts and articles and some others.
Communication is one of the most important aspects of any job. I enjoy negotiating fair prices and clear work terms, project goals and deadlines. I work hard to meet my client’s deadlines and expectations. I only take jobs I know I can finish with top quality and I deliver what I promise.

Work Terms
My rate is usually 'per source word translated', but depending on the project size, I might create milestones (e.g.: Translate x page(s) in 5 days). And of course, I will send you an elaborated quote based on your project.
I may provide daily, weekly or every other day reports, it depends on the project size.
NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)
The client holds all rights regarding the project's information that might reveal personal details about the client and I do not disclose any of such information unless I have express authorization from the client.

This information is useful for my future clients who might be interested to know about my experience and work history and none of this information discloses critical or relevant information about the client.
Most of my work is done on Google Docs on my personal gmail account, which only I have access to. I also use CAT tools and regarding TM (Translation Memory), none of my client personal information is shared, only general words and phrases that aren't directly related to my client.
