Internet Marketer and Linux Engineer
I am an Internet Marketer with an extensive (10+ year) IT engineering background to draw on. My specialty is managing Facebook and AdWords campaigns. I’ve been responsible for millions of dollars in PPC spend and have learned a lot in the process. I also enjoy the feeling that goes along with building a campaign that outperforms the competitors and utilizing multivariate testing to improve the performance of landing pages.
I recently sold the successful healthcare marketing company that I founded in 2014 which provided medical testing and treatment directly to consumers. Our content marketing and SEO strategy allowed us to grow organic traffic to over 1M users in its first year and acquire regular media mentions and numerous links from high profile brands such as Livestrong, US News, Healthline, Tech Crunch, and others.
Prior to this, I spent several years honing my skills at one of the largest education marketing companies in the United States. I was responsible for all performance marketing efforts for a network of websites with over 20M visits annually and with a 9M active user e-mail list. I couldn’t have asked for a better environment to learn new techniques and strategies for earning clicks, driving traffic, and reducing costs.
I am new to Guru, and to freelancing in general, but I’m very confident in my skill set. I’ve grown to enjoy the freedom of working for myself, so I want to give this a shot while I figure out what comes next. I am very much looking forward to helping you with your project!
